As it is now IAH is a small CRJ-700 only bass. The 200 is gone and the way the company is keeping the hours up is throwing in a little Delta 900 flying. I'm a little concerned about the future of the IAH domicile. I like the flying there and my commute is easy.

DVR class dates are for the aircraft class. For newhires, they start a week early for indoc.

Yesterday I was told the Jan 22 class was canceled, so now I am going to SLC on Jan 26 for indoc with the CRJ class, then to DEN for the rest of E175 ground training on Feb 5, and as of right now I'm the only new hire in that class. Maybe its filled with transitions? Either way I'm excited to get started on this next step for me. Hope you get a firm class assignment soon!

Thanks, but I wasn't confused.

Hey all,

Is SFO base possible as a new hire?

Just finished 200 IOE out of ORD. Good times (temps were -18 on the ramp and colder than that in FSD). All I have to say is, whatever you do, avoid the AA flying out of ORD like the plague. We sat on the 32R pad for 97 minutes because AA Ops couldn't be bothered to rustle up a ramp crew to park us. And yesterday we took a 3 hr delay because nobody could find a fuel truck. And when the truck did show, it drove up and then drove away without fueling us. Absolutely unbelievable. The UA side, fortunately, is far better.

The flying was just fine, but AA Ops..it's absolutely mind boggling to me. Avoid like the plague...

Not out of training, but 4-6 months is doable.

I just got IAH awarded, effective 40 days after I finished my type ride. SFO is next I hope...

Here's a dumb question.
How long do you guys speculate it would take to hold a line in any base west of MSP-IAH-ORD?
