Any idea how long training will take these days from the first day of ground school in SLC until the start of IOE?
I was reading that there have been some delays for the sims but I was wondering if this is pretty consistent for everyone or just some people.
Thanks!

Not sure about the ground school timeline but I can tell you from the interview to CPC to start ground school takes 2 months. That was my timeline, hopefully it's not that long for others. I'm wishing I didn't quit my other job while waiting so long.

I was hoping to see one of you super Jr guys post your RSV Schedule? Can anyone explain the Reserve rules? Days off, etc. I thought I heard something about a rotating RSV schedule?
Also, how long is it (roughly) to hold DEN?

His new-hire class date was *supposed* to be 17 Sep 2001. His regional had a policy where you could rescind a resignation up until the last day, but he was already out of that window. Fortunately it turned out the military was in need of his services again shortly thereafter but he never got another class date with that major.
If you actually start class, you can still get furloughed but at least you have a seniority number at most airlines.

Long call RSV is a 12hr callout, and is considered call first. Short call is a 2 hr callout and can be 4a-4p or 9a-9p.
As for DEN it's junior on the CRJ...

Regarding reserve
- In a 31 day bid month reserve lines have 12 days off, 30 day month = 11 as kfahmi said
- Reserve lines are hard lines to bid for
- There is a formula that determines the ratio of long call to short call that they must build, as I recall it is something like 1 long call for every 4 short call lines
- Short call lines tend to be split evenly in the bid between AM & PM and that schedule applies for the whole month
- The number of reserve lines built is a function of how many pilots are in the domicile and how many anticipated lineholders there are. The difference is the number of reserve lines, so that will vary month to month with block hours and staffing levels in each domicile.
