Thanks. We do IAD and DCA??
It's not for destination as a destination. I wanted to know how much they are stretching these things. It could say quite a bit as to the direction of the company or industry as a whole, considering the other E7's flown by other contractors.
Is it official that SFO and ORD are the only 2 bases *right now*?
Also, can anyone in plain English explain this whole re-flow and EFB business?

We do sfo, YYC out of Chicago so pretty far stretched.
Reflow policy Is in the works and probably won't pass so let's not jump off buildings yet.
Bids are open for SEA and PDX but yes other than that SFO and ORD are only otherwise. den is a consideration depending on ac performance. I wouldn't go to 175 hoping to get denver,
Because it's not announced and I personally know a lot of people that bid it for ORD did so to eventually get denver so it will have a lot of people going there. (It was announced as a HUB along with SFO and ORD during initial announcement)

Thanks. How are bids looking for SEA and PDX?

Sea and pdx are small bases right now but will likely grow. Sea has actually not gone that senior surprisingly. This is subject to change of course.
There is a lot of fear mongering that the company may use EFBs to notify crew members of changes to your schedule. Currently they can try and call you or notify you online. Ignoring those two methods of reflow are very easy. Either don't answer your phone or don't sign in to your swol. If they lock you out of your efb until you acknowledge then you have no choice to accept. It basically puts you at the mercy of CS which is not a friendly place to be at Skw.
Unless the company plans to purchase data plans for all our tablets I don't see how that will be effective. It also has nothing to do with the reflow policy Sapa is proposing.

SKYW will be purchasing LTE service, and if SKYW is paying for anything you will pay also. Expect notifications via EFB, and no you will not be able to keep it in airplane mode, SOP will require electronic contact between legs, all they will have to do is make a couple of D. Douglas (http://www.sltrib.com/ci_7154311) examples and everyone will sprain their fingers turning on their Surface 2 special edition. And no it's not "fear mongering" when you have been at SKYW for more than 6 months, you will understand the quiet panic over the EFB notification, SKYW has the uncanny ability to pervert just about anything good, into a sphincter stretching nightmare. EFB would be normally good, SKYW is making it into an electronic umbilical cord.

...dude shhh. You're eroding my upward seniority movement plan. Tell new hires what you want but if they're senior to the 47s make sure they know that under wing is better ✌️

Though I will agree with you on that it's meaningless -- Much like upgrade at a regional.

Once again, how much do you pay in SAPA dues? SKYW pays more than $1.2 million for SAPA, SAPA is their baby, bought and paid for. The "paying" for the EFB was just subterfuge to get us to think that we won one by not having to "pay" for the Surface II, in the meantime the EFB notification is heavily pimped by SAPA and becomes law, without a whimper, and every pilot will become a reserve. The funny thing is in their quest to insure the flying gets covered, their new hire replacement pilots read about this stuff and stay away, as a result.
