That is a straw man argument. I've already pointed out that this is not about anything other than the corporate culture of Inc. I've known since our MEC rolled over on our scope that we would never see a merger of all operations and that that inevitably means the eventual end of xjt, as we knew it. Again, what I'm talking about here has nothing to do with that. I'm simply talking about the corporate culture that lead to this situation to begin with.
Also, this is a different conversation than the union topic. But just to clarify something, IF you were to go union, it does NOT mean there will be a merger. PSA, PDT, and Envoy are all union and separate as well as TSA, Gojet, and compass. So you are mistaken if you think going union means merger.
The Skywest Inc annual report admits that you get what others negotiate. So you may not be a bottom feeder but that's because you get the average of what others actually negotiate. In other words, instead of helping, you are a drag.
By the way, I would love for mainline pilots to take back their flying and temporarily put me out of a job!
The continental express operation was profitable until Skywest whipsawed us against their pilots. The union thing is so that you can join the table and start helping. Nothing more and nothing less.

Nope, it was profitable until about june of 2008, thanks to the Skywest whipsaw. Skywest broke and they bought it. It's up to them to fix it. I've got my plan b.

Ok, you simply represent quite a few posters I've seen on this and other threads with regard to the whole ridiculous Expressjet/Skywest debate, so it applies to all of you who would say this:
WHY on earth would you continuously WISH for another pilot's company to just "fizzle out and die"? Do you truly wish to see thousands of pilots and other employees simply lose their livelihoods, and quite probably their careers, just so you can say "see I TOLD you so! WE are better than YOU!"
It's ridiculous and childish.
(And no, I have never been connected with either of your two airlines, but I have been a long time follower of this forum, so I have watched this argument go on and on and on, ad nauseam)

Being a grandpa is so bad, only an egocentric, ADD fueled moron can twist being a family man into a sarcastic jab. You stay hunched over that pic of a 787 and jackin' it like monkey in a cage, and we will enjoy our families. The beauty is, like that moron Merciful, you will slip up and someone who isn't so enamored with your mean spirited banter will "out" you to your co workers after seeing you post in a plane or crew room. See how a failed AQP segment or line check with associated special tracking does for your career. .l.
