ORD, MSP and SEA have grown significantly over the past 2 years. ORD passed up SLC as the biggest domicile. Just two years ago SEA had about 20 crews with the most junior FO having 6 years seniority. Now it has over 70 crews and an almost new hire can get the transfer there. DEN has also seen some growth recently. SFO lost the Brasilias but gained the 175s so it's grown slightly.

I've been 100 pilots from the most junior captain for almost a year now. Even 100 pilots will make a major difference when someone is trying to hold a senior domicile or upgrade to captain.

Five guys from my new hire class are in the same domicile as me and out bid me for trips. Even within my own new hire class the class seniority has made a difference. I think people really underestimate the long term effects of waiting a few months just because they feel entitled to start on a bigger plane.

Hardest part for me was the *3* days we had to learn the FOM + Ops Specs.

I thought the rest of E-175 training was very reasonable; I do have previous jet/glass/FMS experience, so take my perspective with a grain of salt.

With the new RJs going to delta to replace the regional feed, I'd be looking to go elsewhere.

A guy in my Brasilia upgrade class had the same hire date as I do. He was slightly senior and got into SLC two years before I did.
