Random question. I am not remotely considering putting in a transition bid to the 175 when my seat lock is up, but I was just curious. Had a 175 guy in our J/S the other day and he said the plane is kinda doggy above FL300. Any truth to that? Any 175 drivers on here? I've never even ridden in the back, let alone flown one.

Also I have to think the crosswind limitations are similar to the -200, what with the -175's engines appearing to be 6 microns above the ground.

Will be flying the -200 tomorrow for the first time in 2 months, after only doing -700 flying. I now have more -700 time than -200 time. Hopefully I remember how to land it...

I talked to his sim partner the day it happened.

SkyWest offered me a job but I am dreading the commute out of Jacksonville, Florida. Which base is the most junior base and how long is the average wait time to change bases??

I flew with a CA who commutes out of St Pete to ORD. You'll get that or MSP. I would avoid IAH, its a tough commute from FL. You'll get few days off and work lots. If you want to fly asap, work for a decent company (as far as regionals go) and get out asap then do it. If you want to be home lots and have an easy commute don't come here. Better yet, do what KFahmi used to do :P

They are MSP, ORD for the CRJ. ORD, and SFO isn't to hard for E175 but yes, you'll be kickin it on reserve for a while as more people transfer in from the Brasilia to SFO
