You bet, I'm picking up open time all the time on my off days. I live in base anyway with lots of free time and having the extra money come in feels...well, good!

Literally true.

How long are the bypassed RJ FOs with 2+ years on property waiting for their transition class? In my base, up to 8 months.

And not a single peep from SAPA, the regional airline equivalent of high school hall monitors that desperately needed a punch in the face. You know the type I'm talking about.

I'm a 2+ year crj driver still waiting since Feb. Be in class in September.. I'm not mad or upset, VD told me exactly what I was getting into and I did it purposely. If it weren't for a waived seat lock I would be staying crj all day.

Why not just take your upgrade? You can't be that far out

When I bid in Feb, we were at 4 year upgrades. Diff story now. I am less than 50 away, may be upgrading before I transition.

If I read right seat lock doesn't happen on the transition. You may luck out if they take another big pull into DTW. Set it to DTW or any apparently

Seat locks do apply on transition. Just not when you're bypassed.

Id take the 175 and get the mainline experience while sitting at home collecting money for nothing. Then as the crj fleet gets gutted when UA and DL take the flying away from us, you won't have to go through another training session assuming you are still needed.
