Im thinking nice job of the crew to not say anything or do anything. Granted .04 in allot of people is basically a beer so whose to say what was what. Being from Utah they also probably had no idea what a beer was either

Intoxicated Skywest pilot arrested at Rapid City Regional Airpor

Oh geez....definitely didn't want to read this. Hopefully this will serve as a reminder for pilots who work for any airline to call in if you're not 100% fit for duty.

Yep, and they are still bypassing 175 FO's for CRJ upgrade.

Don't upgrade classes run junior this time of year and more senior after Jan 1st?

Some of them are transitions who went from CRJ to ERJ. Karma for having SJS.

I thought HIMS wouldn't be able to save you if you showed up for duty. I could be wrong though.

Not really sure how that's Karma those of us bypassed have either started on the CRJ a few years ago or were hired into the 175 a couple years ago. I'd hardly call that SJS...

I'm a new guy starting class in a couple weeks. I've been flying corporate aircraft for the last decade and I'm trying to learn as much 121 info as I can on my own prior to starting. One thing that hasn't been made clear is the procedure for holding a base. Once you are assigned or bid for and receive a base, is that where you can expect to stay until you bid out of it or can a more senior pilot bump you out?
