I'm pretty sure now that I am going to join the SkyWest team and decline Republic and Envoy offers. I might have a bit of the shiny jet syndrome, but would it be nuts to take the 175 over the crj if I live near ORD? I think I prefer the slightly longer trips compared to the crj. There are no flows or guaranteed interviews at SkyWest. ExpressJet may offer the United CPP, but I strongly urge you to do your research about XJT as things there do not look too hot. If you want fast career progression and the CPP as an option, do yourself a favor and look into CommutAir.
