I wondered the same thing. Wasn't there a virtual hiring freeze in parts of 2012-13?

I don't have a problem with it, business is business and if they need someone more valuable in the slot, I definitely understand. I just don't want to toss out any more fallback plans waiting on somthing that wasn't going to happen anyway. That's why I was curious if the slots for the 4/28 175 class were allready assigned.

If you want to fly, take the CRJ. If you want to sit reserve and never fly, take the ERJ...

We don't have any flight attendants who were hired 30+ years ago. I fly with the number one fa in the company and she's not at 30 yet.

I thought it kinda tapered off to something like 30 a month.

There was a 6 month gap of no hiring at the end of 2012.

I know a lot of 5+ year FOs that are just holding out till the for sure can hold a line. The upgrade time will swing back and forth for a while before it starts dropping.

I do wonder, though...

How long before SKW retires the RJ fleet, especially the -200s? Serious question.
