Right... But they can't tell me I got awarded the transition for this current bid cycle. (May/June) It's a standing bid so I won't know till the month before October 2017, correct? Because I put, after 10/17.

Got a reg cite that authorizes all that? I know up to 100 hours of sim time can be used toward ATP total time requirements, but I've never heard of sim time being allowed to be logged as multi time.

Because that's how are training department was instructed to do it by our CMO for our CTP program but everybody here already knows everything

Go to your standing bid and remove the bid for the ERJ. Problem solved and you can quit worrying....

There's nothing that says you cannot log ME, instrument, night with SIM if you really wanted to.

The problem is that your logbook totals will be all jacked up when you try to fill out employment apps because employers will not count any of that stuff logged in a sim for anything.

Even the 25 sim ME which is commonly applied towards ATP requirements does not have to be logged in the ME column. The type of sim should of course be noted, and will be obviously be a ME jet sim.

If you must log stuff like that, use one of the spare columns, don't mix it with real airplane.

They probably won't.

They could give you an award today for a class date in Oct, since that's what you asked for but that's unlikely because it's so far out.

You can always get out of a bid once awarded but they will seatlock you again for it.

On 1/24/2017 you posted this: "I'm a new hire about to finish IOE on the ERJ... I have a family wedding that I will be a part of mid spring. I want to be sure to have that time off... About 4 days. How can I go about doing that? I heard of golden days but am not entirely sure what those are... Is there a way to get those off for sure? Thanks!"

So are you on the ERJ or the CRJ???

How do you think we're able to hire people with 25 hours multi...?

It's logged as multi engine sim time on the 8710.
