Turns out I have a two year seat lock. But the more I think about it, I'd like to stay on the CRJ. If they did award me the ERJ, can I back out? I think it's unlikely they'll give it to me. I bid for starting the ERJ 10/17, but my lock isn't done until 10/18. Thanks!

Delete your bid? That should solve it

Yep, theoretically you won't be awarded until the month before your seat lock is up. With that said, if they're desperate they will overlook seat locks.

Seat lock and an "after date" in the future. Zero chance.

Why would you be screwed?

Because I don't want to get awarded the ERJ. I want to stay flying the CRJ.

Relax. You have a seatlock for a year. You wouldn't get awarded the erj even if you wanted it.

You also put an after date. They can't award you before an after date. That's kinda what it's for.

If you get awarded, yes. Unless you want to try explaining to the company chief why you should not be held to your bid.

Got a reg cite that authorizes all that? I know up to 100 hours of sim time can be used toward ATP total time requirements, but I've never heard of sim time being allowed to be logged as multi time.
