I asked a friend in HR yesterday and he said most of the hiring is going to the CRJ, but with the 25 more E175s coming online, they still need to hire for the E175. As far as a waiting list, I'm not sure.

Word of advice from someone who does it, dont come to OO on the 175. It is bloody miserable sitting in Chicago doing no flying. I don't mind being on reserve (expect to be on it for a while) but the lack of flying is horrendous. (unless you like doing nothing). It's the only thing thats driving me to leave SKW.

You should upgrade into the CRJ. You won't have that problem of being able to sit at home all day and collect monthly guarantee for no work

Not everyone wants to sit at home and earn monthly guarantee whilst not flying. The thing that gets me the most is why people below me on seniority in the bucket, with their call preference set to "no" are getting assigned trips and I'm not.. and I'm not including the ones that have to do IOE.
and I'm not including the ones that have to do IOE.This is what you looked like to others when you were doing your previously assigned OE. They do assign out of order by mistake or due to the bucket system. Do you really feel like they are giving a guy who hasn't finished training yet a trip?
