Apparently 5 more 175s are being added in the Alaska system per the Q1 press release.

This only brings it to 33 per seat. With 20 AS 175's and 19 DL i would guess SEA would maybe be 25-30~ AC base. Thats 8 per seat on the 175.. Thats 200-240ish~ Per seat.. SEA has big growth ahead. There is a base meeting coming up addressing this.. Even PHX is growing... But looking over the next year SKY takes 50+175's. For a total of 104 thats (1600 pilots~) right now there are only 835 ERJ pilots on the list.....

Not sure where you're based, but if in ORD...all it will take is one quick call to RG and it will be done with 0 questions asked. He knows how to work with his employees!

What happened to Steve-O? He used to be pretty good with helping crew out.
RG is a class act. It'll be a sad day if he ever leaves.

I may not be up on my Star Trek, but I was under the impression The Borg were well organized and generally competent.

Training manager in Denver, if I remember correctly, is that it is 6 per seat on the 175. So while the growth is a good thing, its going to be interesting to see how many senior people move west out of ORD, or if it will suddenly turn senior as all the junior guys move back west.

They started out with 6 and found it wasn't enough, do to the aircraft footprint of flying west coast to east coast and back in one day.... It may not be 8 exactly by its closer to that then 6.. Eighter way the fleet doubbles in the next 11 months..

Military advancement serves an entirely different purpose. They are screening people to move to the next phase of a system which ultimately generates commanding officers, and generals & admirals.

For military assignments WITHIN a peer group (same MOS and duty) date-of-rank seniority is usually what determines schedule once mission, training, and career-development are accounted for. Ie, the senior person gets to take leave over Christmas.
