Right now, for the pilots sake, it would be optimum to go to vote. By RLA laws the present policy manual would be frozen (although you could drive a Mac truck through the wording) and I think the company would be very eager to get a contract through.

Either way, the timing is great for the pilots, the momentum is on our side for once!

Now's the time to change!

I can assure you the xjet MEC already has a draft of the common carrier petition. All your bases are being to us.

Maybe better go with teamsters.

I don’t think ExpressJet will be around that long. Just my humble opinion

Default AA Travel Benefits

Besides the initial fee for AA, do family members on our flight benefits have to pay any more fees to reide on AA?

Default Seniority in Seattle ERJ

With the phasing out of the CRJ in Seattle, it looks like there is mass exodus of CRJ FO’s to the ERJ. As an FO who’s been with SKW for 11months and towards the bottom of the seniority list, is there any good way to stay busy? Is there a button on PBS that says “I don’t care, just use me to fly”?
Hope this doesn’t sound like complaining, just trying to stay as busy as possible.
Thanks

Default "ENDEAVOR or BETTER"

interesting conversation happening on the Republic forum. "Endeavor or better" seems to be the clamoring mantra and I can't imagine a logical person accepting anything less. Highlights how INCREDIBLY stupid we were and how smart OO management was for pushing that TA through early. I know hindsight is 20-20, but man, that TA we passed is brutal, now we can't do anything but wait until OO has recruitment problems, which may never materialize due to all the base locations etc.

What are the chances of a new hire FO getting a DEN base? Which airplane would have the best shot at DEN? Thanks.

Not sure about the CRJ but the ERJ will get you to DEN as an FO.

I’d plan on at least 6 months in ORD once you finish training. Might be less but best to manage expectations.

Maybe someone else can chime in about the CRJ. Could be a bette option could be worse
