Traditionally they don't go senior until after vacation bidding in September.

So where the early 2014 hires were able to choose from 3 or 4 domiciles last month, they're back to just OAK. So If I sound pessimistic, it's just because I'm an early 2014 hire. But at the end of the day any movement up the list is better than the alternative!

Bids are always one step forward two steps back. You can't call it a trend based on one bid. And the junior CA will still be 8.5 years which historically is quite low for SWA.

Okay the lower number than projected I get.

I do believe we are trending in a good direction. I think we will be down to a 7 year upgrade by this time next summer.

Graham cites the RAA as an advocate

…There goes any credibility for a real conversation on mandatory retirements.

It sure would suck to be stuck commuting across the country for 2 years when you could be the senior FO at home making about the same money…just sayin 😉

Try being screwed for 5 more years. 65 is old enough. Go fractional for guys that aren’t financially sound.

Worse yet was being in the middle of a furlough and just about to be recalled when they went to 65, then all of the sudden "not so fast! You guys just hang in there a few more years"

When people ask why I never went back after the furlough.. it was nearly a decade! At some point you just give up and move on. "she's just not that into you"
