Seems a little odd you’ve not heard one way or another. Our IT isn’t exactly cutting edge so it’s not inconceivable for someone to slip through the cracks unfortunately. Maybe one of your internal buddies can either give their chief or else the people department a call and inquire on your behalf? I’d do that for someone I’m referring in a heartbeat. Good luck, hope see you on the line soon!

It's always time to move on... Worst case, you'll have 2 or more CJOs to choose from. FedEx Express just indicated they're dropping some min requirements and have a huge hiring outlook, don't risk missing the hiring surge waiting for one or another company to call. Seniority is king, the sooner you get a class date the better. You have NO IDEA where the next furlough cut line will be, and you'll kick yourself forever if you miss a furlough cut by a single class date.

They have seemed to changed things.
Backgrounds are happening before the in person, every LOR I’ve written has been verified before going to DAL.
I’ve had a few people slip through the cracks communication wise… which is a bad look. But, unfortunately it seems not getting the CJO in the timeframe they give you is not a good sign. I also don’t know if they’ve changed the “meaning” of the CJO…it was said to my interview group 4’ish years ago that it meant nothing ….no joke 10x. I don’t think this same message is being transmitted to that extent in 2022.

I have emailed pilot hiring to see if they have any info.
Most people I went with knew the CJO email just meant you were going to the pilot review board and you didn’t have the job yet. It was just another step before getting the call.

Sounds identical to my time line for sure, sorry man! You'd think SW will have to go the way Delta is going and dropping the time to reapply down to 6 months with all the airplane deliveries coming....

The hard part I guess is not knowing what I did wrong. So even if I get to try again, I am not sure what I need to correct? I left DAL thinking I did great. Logbook review went great. All questions and times answered immediately with nothing but smile responses. The LOI went as well as I could fathom….I am not sure what more I could say or do to get in. Good part is I have a United interview in a few weeks.
