No one says you have to do that. That’s your decision. I sure as hell don’t.

Ya, I just walk off and say goodbye on my way out. No further explanation needed unless there is something crucial to pass like an open write up. If they aren't there, I tell ops and bolt.

My last trip I walked by the oncoming captain and said "all good, have a great day!" and he yelled after me "is it a good jet?" He literally could not fathom that I would pass by him without telling him how the rides were in the opposite direction, my last two reroutes, a bad joke, something about not working too hard, and saying "good jet".

Ah yes….the Post Flight Butt Sniff. Tell BIGRIG about your delays throughout the day.

I couldn’t agree more. I try to miss the pilot circle jerk butt sniff. But most times I get the LUV. Just get out, say hi and go. You don’t need to know where we are going and I don’t GAS where you flew in from. Have a nice day and walk.

I'm sure the passengers love that that's even a question.

I do the same as you and get the same yelling response . Never fails a passenger says. “I sure hope so “.

congrats that’s fantastic! I’ve got a virtual interview slated for next month….did you hire pros to prep for the interviews and if so was it worthwhile?
thanks!

Someone over on the PRUNe once referred to it as “jetway bukake”

I think I misspelled it but that’s probably a good problem to have.

It was probably a lot easier when you didn't have to try and avoid eleventeen wheelchairs and wheelchair pushers.

I opt for the "Cap'n is right behind me, seeya have a good one" and keep walking method.
