they want to be staffed for 1000 planes and 5000 flights ASAP.
He needs to get caught up. They already substantially cut that upgrade number.

We've been hearing these numbers as far back as 2017.

Latest numbers are 1,500 new hires and 628 upgrades for 2022. I won’t believe it until December.

🤣🤣🤣they still got their head in the sand. They are hurting for instructors because flight safety and just about everywhere else pay their instructors more.

More management memes please
Bonus if they turn into F15s (like the one above) or F16s or basically any FWS

Special bonus if they tie in:
-50 new destinations
-reservation system can't take pesos
-far east Pacific Rim code share
-Costa Rica crew base
-Copa staple

Does anyone have an idea of what the new hire training footprint appears to be as far as timeline goes?

They told us ~55 days at the start of it all (12/7). Several of us have been getting pushed back due to instructor availability, so we're definitely running over that 55 day estimate.

I think we have some of our class finishing up at the end of the week, and their IOE is already on the books right after that.
