Hard Sell

They use the same ****ty API system that most regionals use. The response time is abysmal and the hotel quality is questionable at best.

You keep using this word "stifle" and I am not entirely sure you understand its meaning. I dont think anyone here is trying to prevent you from voting a certain way or a "yessie", but rather some of us are choosing to wait to read the damn thing before we lose our ****. I have called my reps with concerns, emailed the NC team directly, was basically told to wait and see. You can come on here and flame away but it isnt accomplishing anything because right now, your are telling people to be scared of the boogie man, a make believe entity.
Nope, those are straw man arguments you are constructing against me.
I simply point out particular issues the union has mentioned as AIPed and the details the union has released, and say "we should have gotten more" or "that was a concession".
There are many posters here who say similar things about the same subjects, or even different issues which have more importance with them.
Everytime someone speaks out about these possible short comings in the company's offer, the same small group of people slams them and tells them to wait for the language. That is the attempted stifling of fellow union members with valid concerns. That is working against the pilot group. Management LUVs it when pilots do their dirty work for them.

In this environment we can get all we ask and there is so much more we shouted demanding, even if it’s just because we can.
It would be foolish to go to the brink of a strike and walk away with anything less than absolutely everything we want, much less something that is unimpressive.

Based on what I know to be fact, ie insufficient hotel language and no irop protection for commuters, etc., I’m a NO vote.

Well, most of us do. So...
And here's why. There is NO REASON to let the NC and board put out a product with a SINGLE concession or sub par section or subsection. And we've already identified numerous. So what you're saying.. "wait to see the subpar language we already know is in it," is stifling those of us screaming from the rooftops to force the company and the NC to UN-TA those parts before they send it to us. Simple as that. What you are supporting, is a 50%+1 solution.
