Based on what I know to be fact, ie insufficient hotel language and no irop protection for commuters, etc., I’m a NO vote.
In this environment we can get all we ask and there is so much more we shouted demanding, even if it’s just because we can.
It would be foolish to go to the brink of a strike and walk away with anything less than absolutely everything we want, much less something that is unimpressive.

Is there a TA out for SWA?

It really isn't difficult... 10% of the people will vote no regardless of what's offered. Those are your negative nancies. Roughly the same percentage of the people will vote yes regardless of what's offered - maybe even more. Those are your koolies. Then you have the majority who want to see the final product before casting a vote. Also, some people and I among them, want to see a respectful and lively debate, especially with the nay sayers because I really am undecided and I'd love to read other people's opinions and rationale. But when some of those people become trolls, I would allow myself to fall in the trap of feeding them when one should simply just ignore them.

From: DOWNGRADE COMPLETE: Thanks Gary. Thanks SWAPA.
Well, most of us do. So...
And here's why. There is NO REASON to let the NC and board put out a product with a SINGLE concession or sub par section or subsection. And we've already identified numerous. So what you're saying.. "wait to see the subpar language we already know is in it," is stifling those of us screaming from the rooftops to force the company and the NC to UN-TA those parts before they send it to us. Simple as that. What you are supporting, is a 50%+1 solution.

Seriously. Have they not read a word you’ve posted for the last decade?! You’re HARDLY a cheerleader for this place. Everybody just needs to take a breath. Call your reps if you need to talk. But we’re still several steps away from even having something to consider. Not only does the NC have to reach an AIP, but the company also have to agree to resolve outstanding grievances. Then it’s got to get past the SWAPA BOD, and they’re just as angry as the rest of us. THEN it’s got to withstand a month of scrutiny from the pilot group, plus roadshows, podcasts, etc..
Theres going to be plenty of time for saber rattling.

But that's not what is happening. I, along with many others, simply question a few things the union has agreed to recently.
Then, like clockwork....... here comes RJS to belittle a fellow union member and try to get them to stop rocking the boat. That is the attempted stifling.
I personally don't care what a yessie thinks of me, but I am going to call a spade a spade.
They have every right to vote yes to whatever concessions they feel will help the company.
I have every right to say they are working against the pilot group.

We know JAs continue and no separate hotels/transportation. If that’s a red-line, your no-vote is already chambered. Easily understandable. If that’s not an issue for you, wait for full TA. Easily understandable. However, statements like☝️ are pretty clownish.

Everyone will get a vote and nobody’s vote is worth more than anyone else’s. Vote yes or no immediately without reading it…I really don’t care. If it’s good, it’ll get the votes. If it’s not…company will have way bigger problems from people bailing. I trust the NC and Board to not send us something that isn’t ratifiable….but that doesn’t mean I’m going to vote yes for it just because they’re satisfied. How you choose to educate yourself on it is up to you….I don’t need to convince anyone of anything.
