I'm guessing late 2026 for us actually operating the max7.

God help us if that's the case. The 700 fleet is getting pretty worn out. I haven't spent a day in one in the last few months where I am not on the phone with maintenance and dispatch at some point. Those old evolve cabins are trashed. I guess we can start just start replacing them with max 8s, but that's going to be a huge hit on load factors in smaller stations.

Did a quick search for the 2 MAX 7 test aircraft that Boeing has, N7202U hasn't flown since October of 2019, and N7201S hasn't flown since June of 2023. Super.

I wouldn’t read into that very much. They certified the max-8 with the max-7 so I think this is less to do with the aircraft itself and more to do with politics/imaging.

Right, for the MCAS software. I guess they are channeling all their resources into getting the 777X TIA done so they can start delivering that aircraft before moving back to the MAX 7 for an eventual TIA application.

They have reason and the resources to do both simultaneously. The 777X is having pylon issues right now and is very recently grounded.
I still think it will be a long time for both programs. Boeing commercial has hit rock bottom and they need to work the steps to getting healthy again. None of that is going to happen quickly. Their turnaround will happen eventually, but it's going to take a decade or more.
I think anyone who thinks the Max 7 will be delivered in mid 2025 probably needs to put the crack pipe down.

what? The MAX7 flight test program has been done for years. It is paperwork holding it up now. That is why the planes are idle.
