My only gripe with the model 3 I drove back in 2022 was the interior. I know why they put everything in the screen, but I hated having to dig thru menus on a touchscreen while driving to adjust settings. It was a 55000ish dollar model I was looking at but it felt cheap on the inside.
The scout terra harvester is vaporware right now but I am super interested in that one when it comes out. It actually looks like a truck, supposedly will have a gas generator on board as a range extender, and can come with a bench seat and a full size bed! I am optimistic as it sounds like the guts of the truck are rivian tech, I’m just interested to see if they can come in anywhere close to their price point.

The car is definitely built cheap and the suspension is rock-hard — but for me, it works because of the Supercharger network and FSD. My commute is pretty boring, about an hour navigating a busy metro area followed by two hours of farmland. FSD is a game changer even compared to adaptive cruise. I do need to stop at a Supercharger for around five minutes each round trip, but even with that, my “fuel” costs are less than half of what I paid when I drove a Toyota hybrid. I figure over ten years I'll save $20k in gas, oil changes, and brake jobs - but even if the the cost was the same I'd still chose Tesla for the FSD.

I’m new to Tesla, and blown away by my MYP. I don’t see a scenario where I don’t have a Tesla in the garage until someone else catches up to FSD. It’s incredible.
I recently spent a few days with a CyberBeast. Neat truck, but it felt more like a gimmick than my MYP and I just can’t get past the looks. That being said, if the rumors of a CyberBeast SUV ever come to fruition, that’ll be on the short list.

I think it’s 125(ish)
tires are not made for much more, and the car gets really lite around 105. There’s no downforce and the suspension is nonexistent in triple digits. Maybe a quick shot around someone but wouldn’t sustain much more than 85. That being said, autopilot will comfortably navigate at 85 all day long.

I always thought it handles well and I have the 165mph tires on it.
little more pricey but the other half said I need to get them since I have a heavy foot

I got the 3 up to 147 without even thinking about it and routinely go 120--130 on that late night I 70 commute to get around all the street racers.

yes. Even so the other trims are quicker than the Y. Not that it really matters.
I got the performance when I gave a referral to my neighbor for free. Just a software update and all the speed you want. Im not sure id buy it as it's just fine without the extra ponies

New law in Florida is serious about “super speeding.” More than 50 over or anything over 100 has big jail time and fines associated with it. I looked down and was doing 110 passing some left lane camping jabronies last week and went uhhh ohhhhh.

……although I doubt my state would be anymore lenient. Welp, best just to not even stop I suppose.

Arizona has separate criminal and civil speeding penalties. Anything over 85 anywhere in the state is criminal, permanently on your record unable to expunge!
Good thing I live in southern TN where they all drive exactly the 45mph limit. Drives me crazy.
