Do you have the average price of a UA ticket and profit margins on those tickets, domestic and intl?

Not that I wish it open their pilot group, and in any event this just my opinion, but I can see United back in bankruptcy in 4 years. Considering they can barely maintain 3% margins with cheap fuel, it won't take much to throw them back in the red.

That's just one example.

We get it, UAL is the greatest airline ever. Nevermind the two BKs within 5 years of each other and always being one Bad PR stunt away from losing money, lol. Greatest airline ever

Douche bag post coming from someone at a carrier with an ever increasingly narrow profit margin.

Apparently you weren’t there when they agreed to 30% in concessions while these Spirit pilots raised the bar by going on strike and being paid more than anyone in the industry at the time.

Here’s a UAL reminder for you:

“The 8,800 pilots would also take pay cuts of 30 percent from their salary at the end of last year under the agreement. They would receive annual raises of 1.5 percent, starting in 2006. The new contract begins on May 1 and lasts for six years.”

These guys have some big decisions to make. You come on here with an opinion from another carrier keep it professional.

If you don't like his opinions, then ignore them. Simple....Even a caveman can do it.
1. All negotiations are different. To think that if you have seen one you have seen them all is less than accurate. 2. Most PBS experiences differ massively between carriers. Some really like it and some don't but 99% of people who have no experience with it say it's terrible because it's the standard answer just like people from outside California say that in-N-out burger is amazing. They say it because they hear other people say it

Correct no 10hr 3 days in that situation. That is the difference between calendar day averaging and duty period averaging.

Hard calendar day min are another level.
