Ah I see, at my previous 91 department we did purchase our phones however the company paid the monthly bill. So they were in fact ours and we had the choice to put our exchange email accounts on the phones. When you left you kept it and switched the account into your personal name. I guess ymmv.

I haven’t paid a phone bill ever, since I got my first company phone in 2000, it’s standard in 91/135 as is paying for your medical.

I’m an empty nester and if I can leverage my career into a higher pay bracket for my last decade and/or enhance my QOL, I’m definitely interested. One of my alternative reality plans is to get on with Spirit/Southwest/Jet Blue and be based in MCO. I would commute for five years and then buy a condo overlooking the Atlantic and be home based for my last five years. We’ll see what happens as the market continues to tighten up. Great time to be a pilot and dream big!
you would be retired before ever holding mco at jetblue

Had a 13 year CA on the JS. He was still on RSV in MCO.

How long to hold LC reserve and a line in MCO with NK? I’ll be starting training there soon and am looking to be based in Florida. I’m also considering the FLL base. Thank you 😊

Have some friends down there that are almost to a year on property and still can't hold LCR. Its getting close mind you, but not yet. You can get based there pretty much right out of training however it will take you a little bit of time to hold a line. FLL much quicker as it is our most junior base on the FO side of things.

I see, thank you. I’m guessing there will be some movement and shuffling over the next few months so we’ll see how that affects things

"holding LCR" really isn't a thing here at Spirit. There are very few LCR slots per base that by the time you can hold LCR you can basically hold a line at that point unless you are a complete bidtard.

What is the time looking now to hold DFW, and to become a lineholder in DFW these days?
