Uh, after 6 years of fruitless negotiations on the Pinnacle side prior to the merger. Sorry, but I was a part of that and it was a miserable/toxic atmosphere for 6 years.

Yup, and with the merger came a new MEC which allowed for progress.

Exactly. Beware of the short term carrots in this industry. I've seen them before. The company always has the upper hand because they know which direction everything is going. It would be very easy to dangle higher pay rates with current contract in order to hide mergers or acquisitions behind bad scope language.

Don't know if you've been following it, but the White House quickly changed its position on said matter.

While we all are looking to pick up trips...
CS is NOT posting open trips on FLICA and is assigning them to reserves.

Open trips are to be posted on flica until 12:00 two calendar days prior.
Is this another CS contract violation?
Any thoughts?

What's crap is that they are posting trips but when you call for a pickup inside the flica deadline not online is there no premium pay but you can't even pick up at straight pay anymore. They are "evaluating their reserves". This is legal per the contract inside the flica deadline. All the more reason why we need big pay rates for 72hrs of credit. Btw this better reserve utilization started right after our occ manager from Skywest took charge. Skywest made sure all pilots work right up to guarantee including reserves.

I haven't been looking, have reserves been flying a lot more?

Anyway, it will be a good thing if there is never any open time. Then people will realize how much hourly rate does matter when it becomes impossible to "work the system"

You guys sure it isnt seasonal?, Janurary & February are always pretty low block time aren't they? (I guess we will find out the next two months)

Thank you Qotsaautopilot,
It is legal only if the trip was posted from the time it became open, up till 12:00 two calendar days prior.
CS is "hiding" trips from Flica that are open, then post them inside the reserve assignment window after 12:00.
This is NOT legal and is robbing ALL of us from open time.

Today those trips were completely removed from Flica, like they do not exist!
Thus there is no way for pilots to know they are open.
Is someone at CS reading this thread?

I don't understand, if you are seeing this. Why the F--- aren't you taking screen shots and talking to the Union. Posting on here isn't going to do ****. They need proof. If you have proof, do something for christsake

I saw Amangero in DTW the other day and asked him about this's and he said, (not quoting, forget the exact wording) but there was really no evidence that CS was doing this.
