Just an FYI, I don't know about the others, but AA's iPads and DAL's Surfaces are both WiFi only. I've never had an update take more than a minute or two no matter where I was. It's really not been an issue at all.

As far as all the DL stuff, good luck. Sounds to me like NK is trying to buy a big deal for not much.

What I want you to take away from this: we are worth much much more than what we're compensated. We are tremendously experienced, and work hard for this company.

Agreeing to a concessionary LOA is the absolute last thing we should be doing.
I agree 100%. This will set the tone for negotiations for the next contract. Are we going to negotiate from a weak position or a strong position? A yes vote will tell management, in my opinion, that this pilot group is willing to give stuff up in the next contract.

I would like us going into negotiations strong and with a resolve to get a mature contract that in not concessionary in nature.

My understanding from the allegiant guys is that it's the southwest contract or they're walking out. Strike could be as early as March 1

They've been released or believe they will be by then?

Whatever needed to be done with the mediator to get released is done from what my friend is telling me. They are just waiting for an answer (not sure a timeline on that). If they come back with the ok then it's 30 day clock. He said they would love for it to be march first (their highest block month) but will probably after that.

Cool, I hadn't heard anything since their 465-8 Vote in Favor of a Strike. That speaks pretty loudly to management.

If anyone's in Boston Tuesday, let me know. There is no holdover time for blizzards, I don't think I'm going anywhere
