So If I vote no the sky will fall?
If I vote yes I have told the company I am willing to do 18 hours of studying on MY DAYS OFF! For the large sum of two hours pay, at my rate $144.
One day off is worth more then $144 let alone two. I am sad this this will pass by about 60% vote. We must have no self esteem.

And for the record, I started in the NO camp and I'm firmly there. All the info that's been presented thus far has done nothing to sway me to a yes. I'll keep an open mind until the vote actually takes place...but I doubt there's much that can be said to bring me to a yes for this turd sandwich.

In the No camp, too. If we give them this now, we might have to spend "negotiating capital" later to fix it.
Phrases like "unless the pilot establishes he has used due diligence" or "The Company agrees to meet and confer with the Association" can come back to bite us.
18 hours above gurarantee for 18 hours of work on top of our regular work schedule sounds fair to me. Or 10 hours above guarantee with a 2 day payprotected tripdrop.

2 hours of pay? What do you mean I thought it was 5 hrs/day or $1440.00 for two days no?

We currently get 4 hours per day for ground school. Plus per diem and crazy conflict pay. Hard to make less then 100 credit during ground school month currently.
The LOA will give us 10 hours for two days worth of training on our days off.
If the company makes us come in on our days off to an in base class room we will get 4 hours of pay, plus per diem. Also could cause conflict with 6 duty periods in a row or min days off in a month.
So yes this LOA only pays us 2 hours more then we normally make or will make in the future.
