LAS pairings are about 90% commutable on the front end and 60% commutable on the back end. That back end number will be higher if you live back East and can catch a red eye home. I have been here just under 2 years and am usually able to bid 90% to 95% commutable lines. The only catch is that we have a fair amount of back to back pairings which you'll need a hotel or crash pad for. I have a crash pad but I usually only end up staying there about 2 or 3 nights per month on average, with the large majority of those nights being between back to back pairings.
One more thing, if you don't mind, with the red eyes and such, does the company do a pretty good job of respecting circadian rhythms, or do you find yourself shifting "shifts," so to speak, on a regular basis during a period of work days?
I appreciate the responses, thank you very much!

In LAS half of the schedules flip flop. About half of the pairings you'll fly a red eye followed by 24 hours off followed by a morning departure. Other trips you'll fly a red eye then 12 hours off then a night departure. Basically you'll have shifted your workday by about 6-8 hours on those getting done close to the time you started the previous night.
I find that no matter which schedule I fly my first day home is a wash with me just recovering

Based on the way our schedules are built, I'm pretty sure they aren't too concerned about our circadian rhythms. That being said, most of the pairings out of LAS are pretty easy other than managing your sleep schedule. My most recent 4 day trip started with a red eye on day 1/2 followed by a 24 hour layover, morning departure on day three (1 leg) followed by a 24 hour layover, and a morning departure on day four (1 leg) putting me back in LAS before 9 am.

I always figured our lowbrow advertising came from some ultra low class millennial intern.
