Could someone please PM me and tell me how I am supposed to list for an American Airlines jump seat? ALPA says I have to list online. I can't find any info on the AA website on how to do this.
Thanks in advance.

This recall is going to be DOA just as fast as the open time resolution.
Why does 109 have such a hard on to divide this pilot group just as negotiations are about to begin?

"Stiff backs"? Are you making an attempt at sarcasm?
The Negotiating committee, and one must assume the MEC as well, has already conceded everything but pay and investments. Think about that. The negotiators public position is that even though the negotiation environment is " the best it could be", they have no intention of even attempting to achieve gains in any area other than hourly rates.
Looks to me like our backs are limp. Does anyone have any Viagra for the spine?

It's not just the 109, and they're not trying to divide. They want to reunite. Funny how anyone that breaks the status quo is a divider.
Just curious where you got this idea? Last I looked when reading the email, their focus areas were more than just "pay and investments". I agree that big gains should be made in some key areas (pay, retirement, etc.), I also agree that protracted negotiations aren't in our best interest and will only benefit the company. I'm interested to see what additional topics are surveyed in the near future.

Always drama at this place. I think the recall of our MEC Chairman and Vice Chairman this morning will delay negotiations and cost us, not benefit us. Our management will be a happy group watching us get our stuff together moving forward.
For all the talk about transparency brought up in the campaigns of the 109 and 77 reps, this deal was pretty closely guarded and dark. I understand the author of the recall resolution is our new MEC chairman. I'll be interested to hear his take on returning to negotiations before (insert industry calamity here) returns to change the landscape.

For someone who cant attend, what happened at the mec meeting this morning? Did the MEC get recalled? Who's now in charge? What is going on? There was nothing about this from our lec reps! And 20%, 25% even 30% isn't enough. We need to be on top of the narrow bodies pay of everyone else. We make more money for this frickin' company than any narrow body pilot group does for theres.
As I understand it, Amongero and Hopkins were recalled by Ackerman, Pachkofsky, lennard and Conners. Council 18 (Hirschon and Degrennier) voted against it. Ackerman is the new MEC Chairman. I agree the LEC reps didn't have much to say about it before the meeting, but somebody did- the LAS chief pilot knew it was going to happen. Maybe that's part of a "business like relationship" with management.
