Maybe that's part of a "business like relationship" with management.
A chief pilot knew about it? Must have a cozy relationship with his LEC members, nothing like Union and management being in bed together. Im sure Amongero and Hopkins knew this was coming, there was probably very little fireworks this morning in the meeting. Wonder when the announcement and coronation will be made.

No fastread here yet. Internet is slow. Is Ackerman getting a new term or will he serve out the remainder of Amongero's?

Well it looks like 109 and 77 own it now. Next up for the chop is the NC.

So for all who were not satisfied with the previous direction of the MEC / NC, here is my marker.

Industry pay + 3%, 16% 401K match, Industry leading scope, Industry leading STD/LTD, no change to work rules, no PBS, oh and let's throw in 200% premium pay for all those who think premium pay beats out hourly pay.

And I want it by August 1st. Anything short of that is a failure!

They were recalled because they deserved it. Arrogant pieces of shiit. Creed showed his true colors by quitting like a little biitch. A real man would have respected the process and continued to serve the pilots as secretary treasurer.

Put their heads on a stick in the public square. Will Matyas quit before the end of the day?

I dont see how this is NOT attainable. What do we have to make concessions for? There ain't any pressures on this company, not like when the last TA was done. Remember y'all, there will be issues and pressures down the line for Spirit, just like all the other airlines. The environment is favorable now, this place is making gobs of cash, NOW is the time to get a fair and equitable contract. Will the negotiating committee continue to serve?

Exactly. Now IS the time, which is a legitimate reason to not sack the whole MEC just after openers with the Company. The negotiators will stay unless they get whacked. The whacking depends on what deal 77 made with 109. 109 has had a hard on for those guys for awhile. You can't argue the process has been slowed down, no matter what happens.

Good luck by August 1. Nice dreaming. Meanwhile we are disintegrating ourselves just before the chance to materialized a leading contract.
