And if it was this, would they still have called the news?

I won't post it but if you search "flight attendant engine" in google images, you'll see engine photos with FAs for jetBlue, Delta, and several foreign airlines. Again, who cares?

A flight attendant doing something that's been done for years, posing no safety issue whatsoever?

Someone get that clown David Yanofsky on the horn. Maybe he can do another shocking exposé.

I could see a pilot getting called into the CP office.

"Wait, before you start, in my defense, it DID say 'Remove before flight"

I don't know of anywhere in the manual that says "flight attendants cannot be on the ramp", or "pictures of the aircraft are not to be taken". If passengers are on a maintenance delay or something, of course it looks bad if you are seen doing a photo shoot, but who cares otherwise! This is one of the most ridiculous news stories I've ever seen! If the flight was out on time, the front and back end crews do their required checks, and all escort procedures are followed, then there should be no issue. It upsets me that the spirit representative threw her under the bus. At least we made the news again. Free advertising!

I learned many moon ago to avoid doing things I might have to explain, whenever possible. Mind you, I learned that long before every Shmoe and Shmoe's ugly cousin had a camera phone.

Be careful out there, everyone. Whether you like it or not, we're being watched.

Word on the street is that Erika will keep her job, with no reprimand forthcoming.

Her Union stepped in and put a kibosh on this ridiculous non-story.

Good for her. Good for them.

Go Team Spirit!

Now, back to our regularly scheduled b!tching.
