Hmmm, didn't know Delta had an ALPA hiring committee. I'm assuming any prospective pilot hired by Delta needs to be vetted by the DALPA hiring committee, or else they're turned away? Why don't we have one?

Baldanza's debate at the University of Chicago's Booth School of Business from last week. Somewhat of a worthwhile watch if you have an hour to kill:

There was Tim McCord, RD and an individual from HR, not SF, on my interview panel. I'm quite sure Tim McCord wasn't the Union rep, RD is the Chief Pilot and the HR lady isn't Union. Not saying Union officials don't have any influence, but I don't believe they were on my interview board.
Not to get mixed up in the union talk, I'm not as experienced as the rest here, but I don't remember a union rep on my interview board.

Just venting. Would definitely be a plus if it was a sane individual was on board!
