Just venting. Would definitely be a plus if it was a sane individual was on board!
If it was a sane person you probably wouldnt have been hired and wouldnt be here today. You did get hired, tight?

BTW, How did your day in court work out for you?

Am I the only one who thinks that some of our hotel stays are a bit ridiculous? Is there really a need to drive 40 miles to a hotel in IAH??? This seems insane.

This dates back to an arbitration about the definition of "metropolitan area" in the contract. There are some ways to make our drive shorter, maintain the hotel quality, and save the company a ton of money. The key is saving them a ton of money and it's not something we want to give to them without a new contract even if it means driving a little far to some hotels right now.

Don't give the company any savings unless it is written into the new contract with a huge pay raise for us! I'll take the 40 min drive if it puts more pressure on management to sign the TA.

Really? I can guarantee you our long drive does not put pressure on them when they are asleep in their cozy beds. Come on.
