Very disappointing.
+1. Parity at DOS or "No".....period!

How about some "PADOS" stickers while we still have flight bags.

Indeed. Unfortunately all indications are that this is exactly what is being negotiated for so far.

We (the ULCCs, NK & F9) are still such a tiny segment of the market. In Atlanta where both spirit and frontier have made a "big push" we account for less than 3% of the Atlanta market. Kind of amazing how big the big guys are

Very interesting read. What sparked my interest was the fact that ATL had some of the highest fares in the country. Once Delta and the other legacies turn their attentions away from the ME carriers, they'll use every trick to come after us. Higher fuel prices are what's needed.

Or they can just take up all the gates like they did w f9. If you can't get gates than you won't expand much.

That's what I'm expecting, pressure from the legacies on airports to limit gate growth by ULCCs, lawsuits filed or supported by consumer groups against Spirit and Frontier, ticket price dumping on competing routes, possibly pilot poaching and maybe full out merger.

Once the battle with the ME carriers is finished, I believe we'll be next in their crosshairs.
