At the end of the day I'm just happy to be living the dream flying a jet. I still can't believe I get to fly an Airbus. I'd do this job for free!!

I know it. I have said all along that part of our strategy should be to put out the info to prospective new hires. For example a snapshot, based upon a 25 years career at min guarantee, of the disparity in total compensation between a career here at Spirit and one at Deltited.

Shouldn't be too hard to put together.

If spirit + frontier merged today and you were hired in Sept 2013 or later: a straight ratio/ relative seniority integration versus a DOH integration would place you in roughly the same spot. It would be neither bad or good for you.

If spirit and frontier merged today, I figure we'd get a contract sometime in, oh, say 2017-2018, half the pilot group will shuffle off to Delta or United and you'll upgrade quite fast!

Why do we continue to have a regional mentality followed by SJS? Come on guys, if we act this way, we will forever be a bottom feeder of the majors.

Would such a spreadsheet have stopped you from coming here?

If "no," why would it stop others.

If "yes," did you not know the large disparity in wages when applying?

Spirit is still asking 4000TT for hiring consideration and 500 PIC just for the privilege of plunking down $250 to attend a job fair.

No excel spreadsheet will cause an impact on hiring as long as the above continues to happen.

No, it would not have. I would have still come to Spirit because I am looking long term. The pay isn't everything and will rise with our new contract.
