Spirit of NKS
Need more? Got plenty.
I'm willing to let the NC do their stuff without constant harassment or negativity. I understand this is their second go around with contract negotiations here, it better be stellar. I'm cautiously optimistic, I gotta say though, just the podcasts from Bendo and Ackerman aren't filling me with brimming confidence. It's a lot of, "negotiations are ongoing and there's still a long way to go"

Payday Hotline- since when does our R&I committee act as the companies publisher of unilateral contract concessions? Gonnsen and Wheat advise that the company has allowed UHC to now evalate and deny medications and medical treatment without regard for our doctor's consult.
That is a blatant diminishing of benefits and a violation of our contract. How the hell can these two stupid bastaards act passively this and think they can just 'inform' us?
They need to follow John Prosac into the ALPA round file.

That blows. I'm lucky, I haven't had a problem with UHC yet. Yet. I'm just saying it's not the ALPA volunteers fault the company decided to act like a bunch of dickheads and change the health plan all to save a buck.
So I guess this violation just isnt heinous enough to Implement our 'fast track arbitration' provided in contract 2010 . Uncle Vito dont blame UHC. Spirit allowed it because they are self insured. They can make the policy say anything they want as long as it doesnt violate federal statute.
I agree it's not an ALPA issue and I'm glad to see that they put something out looking for examples. I was, of course, speaking tongue-in-cheek that maybe guns blazing wasn't such a bad idea. You don't mess with a man's family.
You don't mess with a man's family, you're right. And I think Android was just a little hasty, but he's right they need to be more proactive. I sure hope this crap gets fixed quick!
