What I'm getting at is professional standards needs to have a role in appearances. After all, it's all part of professionalism...

Email me or even call me if you want, I'm the jumpseat committee chairman. Some scab I am...

Never taking a picture and sending it to management for a non safety issue is an option in my opinion.

Are you up because of work or did it take you until midnight to get that much alcohol into you to accuse someone of scabbing? Just saying.

If I keep saying, just saying that makes it better, right?
Are you the person who ratted out a captain to management for his hair, just sayin. No, I do not drink and I stand by my statement. If you take a photo of a co-worker and send it to management for a 'non-safety' issue, that has the characteristics of what a 'scab' is, just sayin.

You have these tools at every airline. Just saw a pilot walk to the gate with a back pack on. Back pack? What is this high school? It is managements responsibility to have the "uniform police" and not our responsibility. I see plenty of our own pilots with completely wrinkled shirts and pants. How long does it take to iron the uniform before leaving the hotel? answer 20 minutes.

Lets drop this and move back to the important issue such as why is there such a long gap in negotiations. It would seem that if this was going to get done in a timely manner, that negotiators would meet every week with the company to hammer this thing out. I have a feeling it will be years before we see a new contract. Hope I am wrong but this idea of meeting once every 4-6 weeks doesn't work for me.

You really need to be careful about your accusations. You obviously haven't been here long enough to know who that person is because it's certainly not me.

In no way am I saying it's right to go to management over a uniform thing but calling someone a scab is not right. That term is used for a specific group that even has a published list.

hey essay, you called me drunk. I know it's not you chief, I was being facetious. You better be careful who you accuse of being drunk. You obviously don't get it and will never get it, so let's move on.

My personal favorite is the back pack / skateboard combo. Extra points for earbuds.

If I can suffer through watching one of ours drag a skateboard around the terminal, I think your Reeboks are safe.

Really bro?! Maybe you should pay more attention on the pax experience from check in to boarding. A freakin PA? I tell ya, we pilots have different priorities!
