Sorry tine, I disagree. I read the LOA. There is no jumping of seniority. All is see is line pilots being pay protected for certain management flying and all of us being put on Gen Dec so we don't need to pay passenger taxes.
Now its a free for all with management flying out of status under the 5% rule with no pay protection for a line pilot. These guys are all walking around with 4 bars. That didn't happen under that LOA from 6 yrs ago.
As far as pay checks. WHAT? how did you guys get paid with biweekly checks when the contract rules are monthly? Why would anyone want that. Its just silly. The gain is obvious and im no accountant. Anyone want to go back to the old way?.........I didn't think soGeeze.

Sorry, not a member of the leadership. Scary for some to know that a regular line pilot like me doesn't agree with Skybolt and strongly supports our current MEC. I'm just a part of the (mostly silent) majority.

Do you know Tine, Manflex, and Spiritman to be in ALPA positions, or are you just making stuff up again.

The issue isn't whether they were on the list. Your complaint was that they were put 'ahead' of someone. Please explain who should have been ahead of them. I have no idea what you are talking about.
And I am told GK and MA wore 3 stripes and were in the right seat. Now all management wears 4 bars and acts like Captain. yes?
So are we moving forward or backward?? The answer is easy for me to see.

It's really disturbing to see individuals with current ALPA positions posting trash on a public board like this. AN, SC and possibly others posting with their hand or by proxy. Shameful
Balder you are a joke to suggest skyvans would be 'in bed' with management. Why don't you explain how this line pilot would be bedding management. I can't wait to hear this.

60% participation rate on the first survey?
That's fine, probably don't care to hear the non-participating 40%'s voice anyway. If they can't be bothered with filling out a 5-10 minute survey, I'm sure they wouldn't have anything constructive to say.

constructive /kənˈstrʌktɪv/ adjective
: helping to develop or improve something : helpful to someone instead of upsetting and negative)
Interesting concept, maybe we should try some of that on this thread

I am trying to book some buddy passes for some friends. I thought I remembered someone saying that there was a way to avoid being charged the $16/leg/passenger fee on the id90 website. Is there a way? (I know....I know...pilots are cheap ok)

You guys have many 5 day trips? Curious if your ULCC model predicates 5 days as a part of life?

Curious as to why an ULCC model would cause 5 day trips? The ULCC model doesn't have much bearing on the guys sitting up front, it just brings in gobs and gobs of cash for the company (and hopefully for the pilots in the next contract).
I also wouldnt credit being an ULCC with 4-5 days off between pairings either. I typically roll between 17-19 days off per month.
