I am sure it will further relax you to know, I have no ALPA position, nor have I had one in the past 6+ years. Nor have I ever worked with AN, SC, or any possible others, except maybe I have flown with them. I am just a line pilot, just like you. Unless your "statement" above is also sarcasm, why would you post it as a fact? I can't wait to hear this...

 

I wonder if management gets on message boards and fights amongst themselves about upcoming contract negotiations. I hope so. Id hate to be the only side in the fight that has such weakness in its phalanx

Of course not. They aren't a union of people with common goals. They are a ' chain of command' with no recourse for punishment for breaking rank. They need to kiss ass till they get into the stock options club. There is no debate. Just taking orders.

 

I am not AN or SC. I don't even know of whom you refer. Secondly, I merely pointed out that past factions of our union signed some questionable LOA's. I don't know how long you have been here but, would you like management put on the seniority list in front of you and in turn you wouldn't have to pay taxes when you Jumpseat to an international NK destination? Also, would you like the schedule of your paychecks to change for nothing? oops sorry, for "pilots to easier track their pay and clear up pay discrepancies" Would you like to help management see that a base would "work" by making a satellite base for awhile? No conflicts or vacation are honored.

Sorry tine, I disagree. I read the LOA. There is no jumping of seniority. All is see is line pilots being pay protected for certain management flying and all of us being put on Gen Dec so we don't need to pay passenger taxes.

Now its a free for all with management flying out of status under the 5% rule with no pay protection for a line pilot. These guys are all walking around with 4 bars.That didn't happen under that LOA from 6 yrs ago.

As far as pay checks. WHAT? how did you guys get paid with biweekly checks when the contract rules are monthly? Why would anyone want that. Its just silly. The gain is obvious and im no accountant. Anyone want to go back to the old way?.........I didn't think so. Geeze.

The issue isn't whether they were on the list. Your complaint was that they were put 'ahead' of someone. Please explain who should have been ahead of them. I have no idea what you are talking about.

And I am told GK and MA wore 3 stripes and were in the right seat. Now all management wears 4 bars and acts like Captain. yes?
