Notice that they don't even claim to be attempting to achieve survey goals, which relieves them of the task of claiming the achieved said goals. They stated that they will negotiate until they FEEL no further gains are available.
Standing by for a snide Bone Daddys remark.

If that is all there is, why bother filling one out? Personally, I'm for rig / min duty improvement. My point was, we will never know what the survey said, so we will never know how well the NC did. Like taking a type ride and not knowing the pts. Even after a TA is ratified, the survey results will remain classified secret squirrel info.
"Your negotiators will continue to bargain for improvements until we and our professional ALPA negotiators feel there are no further gains available. Rest assured, a TA will not be presented to the membership for ratification without the unanimous support of the Negotiating Committee and the MEC. It must be the right deal for the Spirit pilots. We thank you for staying engaged and informed throughout this process."
They won't put it out until it is "the right deal for the Spirit Pilots", therefore we must know that they achieved the survey goals, right?
All is well, All is well. They got it, no need for concern.
One more point if I may. A TA will not be presented with out unanimous support. Maybe that's why it's been promised for three weeks to insiders but still hasn't seen the light of day. I wonder which one is holding out?
On a separate topic, did they ever update the policy manual to include that deal about requiring a membership vote on all matters that effect pay etc? That whole thing was kind of like a big foot sighting. I heard a lot about it but never actually saw it myself.

Two Article 8 hearings over MEC/NC control took place, this was important enough to you to try that in an attempt to maintain control, so produce already.
Um... when the objective is reached?
I would think that would be in negotiating 101, or at least covered at alpa negotiating day camp. Nah, check that, it's just common sense.

On another note I agree that with a TA I would like to see the answers on the surveys.
Not to get in a ****ng match with you ram, and not to justify an easy out from negotiations, but if the objective isn't met? How long are we all willing to go w/o a contract, because a release this time may be a little difficult.

This is exactly the type of thinking the company is counting on, and the reason we may never see industry standard anything. The company delays a while and enough of us are willing to accept an excrement sandwich now, vs holding out. Add a five year CBA term, plus a couple more years of negotiating ending again in capitulation... rinse repeat. If we never make a stand, we never make gains, and we will keep eating $hit sandwiches.
