I doubt that's true. If so they can go ahead and send it back now. There may not be 3 year narrow body captains at the legacies right now but our upgrade is getting much longer and there will be three year narrow body captains at the legacies before our new contract is over.

Ummm...that is pretty close to what we have now. Our 3rd year CA rate is basically 3rd year FO at a legacy. .. minus Profit sharing, retirement, disability, etc. It better be WAY better than that. Our lower end of the pay scale lacks, on average, by 60-65% from our peers on the same equipment. That is just the truth.

I've never read anything union or company related to my wife ever. I read this email to her without saying anything first. She said "I've never heard more bull**** on top of bull**** in my life. Sounds like they have been getting a lot of calls and emails and want everyone off their back." I was astonished given her unbiased position.

I'll remain cautiously optimistic and withhold judgment until I see it.

Yup. This is the biggest point of disparity and if we are seeking a "path to parity" this end of the scale needs the most and immediate attention (read money)

What does that have to with only getting a small bump & 401k match? Sure it's a lot higher than our current contract but its not much better than what they have now.

They (Southwest Pilots) would also be accepting some major Scope concessions. They have industry leading scope that makes our (spirit) contract look like it doesn't even have a scope section. It's section 1 for a reason. SCOPE!

Oh snap, I'd missed that. You're right that is what we have now. Two thirds of our negotiating team haven't changed from last time and those two didn't show much last time. After all, they negotiated you third year Captains a Major pay rate - for the wrong seat. :roll eyes:
But I hear good things about the DHL guy. His background contains job experience other than just being beat up by a fee for departure carrier. Let's all hope that he can over rule e the shiny jet syndrome the they negotiating team showed last time. Yes, it better be WAY better.

Jesus, give it a rest guys. Nobody on here has any clue when we can expect a TA or what's in it. Why not just wait it out before crucifying everyone and anyone involved?
