In the case of the 18 reps who lost their position in 2007, there was NO Constitutional provision to leave them in Council 18. "Council Bypass" was not an Constitutional provision, it had to be in the MEC Policy Manual and it wasn't. No attempt was made to amend the MEC Policy Manual to include "Council bypass",.

No it's just the same 3-4 guys bittching about things that happened literally 8 years ago and the arguing about who is recounting the history correctly. It's over! Done! It's 2014 and the big three are making up to 35% more than much of the spirit pilot group counting retirement and delta is seeking even more money at the same time as us which could put is more than 50% behind.

Hard man to please Ram. I can brighten your day by saying, the new guys are going to win 077, new MEC elections next year (109 and 77) will set the table for a new MEC as a result it will give birth to a new NC that will fix everything that this MEC and NC didn't do to the expectations of some of us.

Regardless of my and Rams running battle over what happened 7 years ago and why, you guys would be well advised to listen to him on this.
He isn't living in the past when he warns to not relive history, he's trying to help you avoid repeating history. Simply because the same guys are still in control of the negotiations, and I don't mean the members of the NC.
All of you new(er) guys expect that you will get a huge raise if we can just be "unified". Well Ram and I know that the last time we were "unified", the raise wasn't very big at all, maybe not even bigger than what it replaced. You can bury your head in the sand all you want while you wish everyone would just get along, but getting along won't get you the raise you expect without a leadership team in place to take advantage of that unity.
