For me a no vote.

This is the main issue I have as well. I have to schedule potentially 18 hours of self study into a month where I will have no additional time off. And I'll be paid 10 hours credit for doing so. I'm leaning heavily towards a no vote.

This EFB implementation is a boon for management as we will more than pay for it in the extra days we will be flying and not sitting in class. I couldn't care less if I continue to carry Jepps and a flight case.

5 hours of pay for up to 9 hours of daily work. And as someone who has done EFB recurrent before, its a true 9 hours of work on the thing. This isnt surf the internet while a clock ticks town from 9 hours

Explain this to me.....

So currently we get 4 hours of pay to attend a day of training (if on a day off) or the dropped trip amount for the dropped day (4.5 minimum). So we have decided that the net savings for the company for a day of home EFB training, vs classroom training is either 1 hour or a half hour when compared to the proposed 5 hours of pay?

So the savings of hotel, classroom, staff, etc is worth as little as a half hour of pay compared to current book? How about the TONS the company would save with transition drops for training, since this ground school can not be assigned during duty periods, that saves them millions right there.

I can not vote for something that essentially loses money for me while saving a ton for the company.

Care to explain your comment?

We are giving the company a huge amount of efficiency and savings and getting next to nothing in return.

The efficiency the company is gaining alone is worth a hell of a lot more than 10 hours. Couple that with the money saved in hotels, per-diem and the company is making out like a bandit if this passes.

Absolutely.... NO.

Sorry, I went over it quickly while on the phone. I assumed the days would be on days working and trips removed.......

I'm assuming if we had a 12day off line they would have to adjust to get us back up to 12 days off?.
