Trying to update my application for this upcoming job fair in LAS (already went to one in DFW) and the website is not letting me get pass the Current Employer page. Anyone else having this issue? I can't find any email to recruiting team or anything to ask them. Thanks

If you have a question about Spirit Airlines please post them at the Spirit Hiring Roundtable. You do have to sign up for a membership which is free. You can ask a question and get an answer directly from a recruiter.
Our long term goal is to have every airline online to answer applicant questions.

That's true. Come and get your type and bail! This place is a joke. Current book of orders, you'll most likely upgrade in 7 yrs or longer. Pay rates are abysmal. No new contract in sight. We've become the bottom of the barrel with F9 and management treats us that way. Very sad deal!

Say whatever you must to get the job, and bail as soon as possible. That or do yourself a favor and run away before showing up. The next bunch of years are going to be less-than-desirable to say the least.

Get the type and bail...
And dont agree to the midnight sims...don't risk "pink slipping" your type ride to help them with sim availability issues.

Yup....not "as bad" if you're in the left seat already...but being a brand new FO, at that low pay, with no upgrade in sight, and morale dropping by the minute....PASS

2) Dont agree with the 24 hour sims and classes of 50+. Growth is now decreasing from this point on “We do not expect to repeat a 30% growth rate in the future, but we are comfortable with a 15%-20% [annual growth] range,” Fornaro. And we are getting a new sim in DFW and possibly another one in ORD, allowing more sim slots for pilots. So classes of 50+ essentially means attrition is at a point of operational collapse (fingers crossed)
Short of a new contract, every sim that goes on motion after midnight is being done so by the student allowing it to happen.
So again I suggest to new hire pilots that they dont agree to do the midnight sims. Stay in the training footprint and allow you to be positive space flown to and from, hotels paid for, and miss ACY completely while you accrue seniority in training. You still get first year pay after 90 days, its in the contract and the pay difference between hitting the line earlier is not that big of a difference when you factor in commuting costs to ACY while you try and hold your base of preference. Especially if you are thinking of bailing, dont risk a pink slip on your record because you are trying to learn V1 cuts (the three of four you will see total before your ride) at 3am.

American's sims don't run past 12:15am. Delta and United dont use CFI's who have never flown a jet to teach their systems ground school. Not a single airline out there gives only 4 sims before the checkride like Spirit does.

1) Other airlines don't have the rushed training footprint that Spirit does
