I would hope more guys from places that didn't vote in massive concessions voluntarily during a pilot shortage in an effort to screw fellow Alpa pilots and gain all the flying for themselves. Pinnacle was a bad situation for everyone and then PSA came in and just straight up screwed everyone by taking concessions to poverty because they were promised shiny new jets. Meanwhile every other group in negotiations is told that PSA is the new standard and if they don't agree to similar contracts they will lose all the flying to PSA or a group like them. They sold everyone out. Everyone.

The last group of interviewees all had internal recs. Some guys had barely the minimums, some had lots of good PIC turbine. At the job fair they will ask you who do you know here? Be friendly at the job fair, tell them why you really want to work for Spirit. Make connections at the job fair with strangers. If you don't have any internals go out and just talk to some spirit pilots and network. Of course you want a personality that mixes well with the culture. Good luck!

Gents/Ladies,

I missed out on getting a ticket to the DFW job fair. I have no internal rec's so are there any other options to get my app noticed by the Spirit hiring folks?

Thanks

If you think that about PSA you don't understand their contract. You also don't understand the economics of regional flying. Perhaps chatting with regional MEC/LEC reps who aren't radicalized and take ALPA E&FA briefings seriously would open your eyes.

Yes people with zero PIC are still eligible to be hired.
Lol thx . I just meant that it was simple and I have a strong feeling I would not be dismissed for failing it.

Whatever you need to tell yourself to sleep at night. Every regional pilot held all the leverage over management just on supply and demand alone. That is, until one or two groups lower the bar instead of holding the line.
