About a year ago I was consistently able to credit 90 hours a month, lately it has been much more difficult. Most decent trips in open time don't last 3 minutes it's like guys are sitting in open time waiting for something to drop. That said once you hold a line 80 hours is very doable.

I think our goal should be, to make a decent living, without having to count on consistently breaking guarantee.
While on first year pay, you will be called more for Junior Assignments, which pay double...

FLYINGE,

Yes, they are still doing a written test for the interview.

Hopefully the spring & summer stuff coming up in March/April will make it easier. I think seasonal stuff starts up next month and new flying in general.

I went to the FLL one back in November. They finally sent me the online assessment 3 weeks ago. I kept in touch with 3 other guys and none of the heard anything the day I got my email, I applied last May, so I've been waiting while. Unless you already had the long app, and the online assessment done before you went to the job fair. I wouldn't be surprise if you don't hear anything for a couple of months.

They're not sitting on open time, FLICA notifies them when open time comes available, you have to subscribe for the alerts.

Haha, no man. People are sitting on open time. Most everyone has the FLICA alerts. People do sit with FLICA open, waiting for stuff to drop.

It will just get worse as we continue to hire, add more FOs to bases, and continue to run overage on staffing. Many dogs, too few bones to go around.

Exactly. I had a Captain tell me one of his FO's was bragging about a 2500 dollar computer he built just so he could pick up open time faster.
