Spirit usually attends job fairs where they are the main event so the wait times are long. Now that EVERYONE has gotten sizable raises except Spirit, Frontier, and Allegiant, and the big three will will be in attendance at WIA, I'd expect the line for spirit to not be that long.

If the way to get hired is by going to a job fair and the job fairs require PIC, it seems that no first officers are getting hired. Is this true or am I missing something?

That's the jist of it unless of course you are very well connected to the higher ups at Spirit. That may change since Spirit is now way behind almost everyone on compensation.

There is no PIC time requirement to speak to Spirit at the Women in Aviation conference. Granted, WAI is not strictly a 'job fair' and it is not only for pilots either. Flight attendants, mechanics and all other positions are recruited for at WAI.
