Put that same table up next to the legacies and southwest and it looks even more terribleb than it already does.

My vote woulda been NO. Look, you get rid of the transition conflict, you might as well just go ahead and have PBS. The pay rates are insulting, what it's really telling us is that we're an inferior airline to Virgin and JetBlue. I'm not saying we're better pilots or anything, but our airline is much much more profitable yet we're not being compensated as such. I think you're going to see operational costs start to rise.

Anything for PS? Here we got basically one month's salary paid out. At Delta, the management changing the details of their PS was actually one of the big reasons the pilots ended up voting no. For a very profitable airline, something about PS in a new contract might be a great thing worth pursuing.

Usually PS does apply to other groups besides the pilots. It depends how the pot is divided. I don't know how Delta does it. Here it was based on some formula regarding W2 wages so the pilots did better/bigger piece of pie than the FA group.

I'm glad the MEC/NC stopped this before slapping us in the face with it. I wish the news was better, but ahhhh, the sweet smell of vindication.

Here, the FA contract says something like no less favourable terms than the pilots. So we would be negotiating them a pay raise. Better to spend that cash elsewhere and let them negotiate their own raise.

That is one big stinky turd of an offer that needs to be flushed twice! Time to build up your war chest boys!

Agreed.
The expectations just went way up. If we're gonna go down the 3 years extension road, we might as well be paid for it. No more industry parity.
Industry leading. Not a dime less.

Long time Lurker and rare poster. I consider myself fair, and more objective that most. But I must admit that proposal almost made me chuckle. Best Negotiating time of our entire careers and thats the garbage they want to throw our way. The retirement is a total insult. LIke disgusting bad. I just realized we are in for a several year fight. I was hoping early 2016, but We are staring at years, and not months, IMHO. I don't see myself going anywhere else and Im quite happy here.. So I'm not rushing to send out applications but I may buy some stock in AirlineApps and Goldcoast. United just got themselves a ton more of airbus qualified applicants. Im not expecting the world, I want this company to remain highly profitable, and I even willing to let transition go away, gut those number are wayyyyyyy the F off of anything Ill say yes too.
