Factual? Both your statements were false. There are planes being delivered and pilots upgrading here, and there have been more than 2 profitable quarters. You can't IPO until you're well in the black and the IPO was back in Nov 2014. Every quarter since 2nd quarter 2014 has been profitable. And some before that timeframe too. You either know this and are trolling, or just not caught up on the latest. My guess is personal insult/trolling. And no I'm not bitter, just being realist. It does seem a couple of your colleagues concur with my post.

How do we have more in common with Sun Country than SWA? Lol. Get a clue Feng
I was merely splitting airlines into categories. Spirit is more like Sun Country than it is Delta. Spirit is more like Frontier than it is SWA. Now that you brought up Sun Country and SWA, I don't know, one can argue in reference to size. Airplanes : 20-79-720. Size factor: SC=1/4 of NK while NK=1/9 of SWA.

NK and SC both have short upgrades and crap for pay. Both ALPA

But I can see some arguments for NK is more like SWA than SC, but not to the point where I need to get a clue if one disagreed.

Good point, two profitable quarters when Oil is $30 a barrel is impressive, you're right, what was I thinking.

We can all agree we need higher rates.. But if transition is going away, why not trade it for better work rules, 6.0 min day, 3.5-1 duty rig, 15/16 days off min per line and reserve... Make these clowns build productive pairings and lines. Let's not lose focus here fellas!

Alaska is a "legacy", as is "Hawaiin". SWA pilots make more than both. Names, sizes & business models of Airlines don't really dictate pay.

There is NO reason, ZERO reason we shoutld not make UAL, DAL, AA pay. I'm sorry there is simply no reason in the Workd that will change My mind.

I don't care if Spirit was a Sh-thole airline that flew prisoners around in the late 90s. That's no longer the case.

JESUS H CHRIST, we are leading the Industry with our profits & growth. NO REASON to settle

Again, the reason is because management doesn't WANT to. Can they? You sure betcha. But, will they? Not on your life. No other reason than that.

Profitable quarters:

3rd quarter 2010
2nd quarter 2013
3rd quarter 2013
4th quarter 2013
2nd quarter 2014
3rd quarter 2014
4th quarter 2014
1st quarter 2015
2nd quarter 2015
3rd quarter 2015
4th quarter 2015

Oil didn't crash to $30 until pretty recently. 11 quarters is factual, your 2 quarters is incorrect information. Perhaps you have a misunderstanding of what a quarter is. You posted two factually incorrect pieces of information that has been corrected here. Make up whatever lies you like, doesn't make what I wrote on the previous page any less true.

Except for the abundance of Pilots at Spirit that have low to no self esteem and value themselves so little
